We attended a Gathering of A-Frames this weekend in Ramsey Illinois. We had a great time as usual. We enjoy seeing all the Aliners, their owners and their modifications. We took our bikes and got a little ride in, too. They also had a cake to celebrate our 35th.
I was told to sign up and start blogging. I did that but now I'm told to sign up on Facebook. So, I signed up on Facebook. I'm still trying to figure it all out. What's next Twitter? What ever that is?
We went to a St. Patrick's benefit dance in Highland, Illinois. It was a benefit for a friend's medical bills and was sponsored by the Highland Jaycees at the Highland VFW. We had a great time.
I wanted an outside antenna for the television inside the Aliner. Last year I put a set of rabbit ears on top of the propane tanks. After looking at several other mast and antennas I came up with this. I used a lightweight, cheap indoor/outdoor antenna from Walmart and PVC pipe. The pieces unscrew for easy storage. I guess we will find out if it works.

Even though we do not live in these states we have felt we should be part of this group. We have gone to several events with this group of people. When we got our latest Aliner Owners Club Membership Directory we saw a statement that made us rethink the club. The statement: " State Boundries are guidelines only. You can join any group that is convenient to you." Last year at the group meeting we felt we were not eliglible to vote, but maybe we were.
