We had a good time and got a lot of bike riding in. Looking forward to the next time we all get together. Lots of good stories.

Pere Marquette State Park, Grafton, IL
We returned to this park again this year with friends from our old van club days. They have 30' something travel trailers with several slide outs and one has a motorhome. We have our little Aliner. But it was all good. Weather was good too, a shower or two but no problem.

Carlyle Lake, Carlyle IL
Dam West Campground
Spent the weekend and had a good time. It was rainy when we arrived on Friday. Saturday morning was cold and dreary. Hard to believe with all the warm weather we have had. Saturday afternoon was good. We were able to get in a nice bike ride. Rode up to & on the dam as well as through the town of Carlyle. Nice bike trails that connect to wide sidewalks.
Dam West Campground
Enjoyed this campground. We have camped at Carlyle for 30+ years but never stayed here. It's close to town. But it's also hard to get a campsite.
Carol know's I am not a firestarter so she got me a foolproof fire:
It worked.
I ate good too!
We had a good weekend.

TZAR
Craig came by today and wanted a video of him and Kevin from back in 2003.
This was a show at Rockwood Summit High School:

Hard to believe how they both have changed. Kevin had long hair, Craig had no hair.
Heavy Metal, and now Craig's favorite music is Classical. I think Kevin listens to anything and everything.

Plow disk made into a wok
Several years ago at a friends house in New Mexico he had a Wok that he used to cook outdoors for a large group of us. The wok was made from an old cast iron plow disk with the hole welded shut and horseshoe handles welded on. It was great. When we left he gave us all the parts we needed to make our own Wok. We took it to a welder and Carol used it a couple times outdoors. Now that she has a gas stove she wanted to try it out again. It worked great.
