2006 Aliner Expedition gone!

Our Aliner has been sold and is off with the new owners. I hope they enjoy it. In the short time we had it we were very happy with it.

Thanksgiving!

A great day. Glad we had as many together as we did. 
The food was great and so was the company. What a great family. We have a lot to be thankful for.

Old Orchard Art Gallery

Craig had another showing at the Old Orchard Gallery tonight. We had a nice time and there was a good crowd. 

Gathering of A Frames McNair Campground, Carlyle, IL

Just back from another good time. I think we had 15 units. Arrived Thursday morning at 9:15 AM with hopes on getting a site. This is a small campground and at this time of the year is non-reservable. We were able to get a site and there were only a couple left. 
Fall colors were in abundance.

As always we enjoy the other people in the group. What an odd bunch we are. But we have a good time.

Pot luck was excellent as always. Thanks to Gary & Loren for doing the grilling.

I had a little cold so I thought I should be sure to eat a lot. I figured it couldn't hurt.

Carol's retirement is not good for my diet

After a week of being out and about we got home today. Carol made me a nice lunch and dinner. And she made an apple pie. She said she doesn't have to worry about going back to work so she has time. I may get used to her being retired.

Piney Campground, Dover, TN Land Between the Lakes

An ex-Aliner owner, Dennis Archer, has a rally every October and he opens it up to all. There were about 42 campers at this rally; Scamps, Casitas,  5 Aliners and 1 Chalet. Beautiful campground, weather was good and we had a great time.

We had an excellent site on the lake.

We looked at Scamps, 5th wheel Scamps, Casitas. All a little different, just like Aliners.  We had Tech Sessions, Camping Myths, a Pot Luck, Campfires, Talks from Officials on the Land Between the Lakes, etc. A lot of things to keep us busy.
