Boulder Campground, Carlyle, Lake, IL

Stayed at this campground a few days.

Some people ask what our favorite campground is and I don't know. We stay at 3 different campgrounds at Carlyle Lake and they all have things we like. At Boulder we get a site that backs up to the marina. So we see boats, waterfowl, and we can fish from our spot.

Fishing was no good, we didn't catch a thing.

Bike riding was good, weather was great!

Sunsets are always great here.

Our next trip is coming up soon, We are ready!

Coles Creek campground, Lake Carlyle

I booked this site 6 months ago. Sites on the lake are not easy to get. Our last reservation here was cancelled due to high water. The lake is still high but low enough.
You can see the water marks.

We like being on the water and seeing the sights.

We did some bike riding.

You never know what you will see at a campground. I found somebody that brings their pet goose.

Another good thing about this side of the lake are the sunsets, awesome.

Dam West campground at Carlyle, Il

We had reservations that start Sunday but we were ready to leave Friday. Luckily we have connections that were able to save us a spot for a couple days, thanks to you know who!

Back at Dam West, Carlyle, IL

Staying here for a few days. We were able to get a spot that was under water two weeks ago. They cleaned our spot up and put new rock down.

It's been fairly hot and humid. Still managing to get some bike riding in.
