Food

I haven't posted any pictures of food lately.

One day while shopping I told Carol I would like some stew. So she bought the stuff and made me a great stew.

Then one day I saw something on Facebook that looked good, chicken and dumplings made with biscuits in a crockpot. I asked Carol to make it. It was good, not great. Carol makes better home made dumplings...

Next I saw something on Facebook that looked good. Pasta Fagioli made in a crockpot. I asked Carol to make it and then I wouldn't ask for anything else I saw on Facebook.  It was excellent!

Last night Carol made cookies. I think I need to go on a diet!

New Front Doors

When we moved into this house more than 30 years ago we said the front doors needed to be replaced. Well, it never happened until recently.
We finally decided to get new ones.
Our house had only one door on the inside, and two on the out side. Weird, but that's the way it was built.

We decided to go with two doors with glass to get more light inside. We ordered the doors and had hopes they would be in and installed in November before it got too cold. Of course it took longer than we were told.

We are very happy the way they turned out. Now all we need is some warmer weather so we can paint the doors. That may be Spring.

Craig had a painting at this show at the History Museum.
A nice day and there were a lot of people out and about.

Dam West Campground, Carlyle, IL Oct. 21, 2016 - Oct 31, 2016

This looks like it is the last camping trip of the year.

As usual it is good to be out and about.

You never know what you might see on the bike trail

The weather so far has been great.

It's always fun to play games and eat with good friends.

Rock Art!

Trees are just starting to turn colors.

Playing games indoors today, cloudy and cool out

It's always fun visiting with old friends:

Halloween at the campground. I can't believe how many people go all out and decorate their site. We had over 100 kids come through.

Since this was the last camping trip of the year I have totals. This year we camped 74 nights, compared to 121 nights last year. Last year I rode my bike 1290 miles and this year was 800 miles. But I guess that isn't too bad considering I got Lymphoma and went through 6 Chemo treatments. I was glad that we were able to go as much as we did. Looking forward to next year with bigger totals.
