Mothers Day

Kevin & Cassie invited us over for a BBQ. It was a beautiful day and the food was great. Enjoyed ourselves.

Then back at home, Carol & I cleaned up the patio a little:

Rend Lake - N. Sandusky Campground

Our reservations at Carlyle Lake were cancelled due to flooding. Too many inches of rain in the last week.
Instead of staying home I found another place to go. We were just at this same campground last month.

The forecast called for a chance of rain Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We decided to go any way. It turned out that we had a few sprinkles one night while sleeping.

We had great weather and did some bike riding.

Ate good food.

We are looking forward to the next camping trip, when ever that is.

McNair campground - Carlyle Lake

We just spent 5 days here with friends.  Nice campground. Water and electric only. I'm spoiled, I like full hook ups. It's also hilly. I like flat when I'm riding my bike. But the campground location is good and it's nice and quiet with a lake view.

The first couple of days were great. The last couple we had major rains. Not much you can do about that, especially this time of the year.

Even with the rain and hills I was still able to get a few miles in on my bike.

We had a good time and will be back.

I got a few miles on the bike so far this year. Behind average but we had some rainy and cool weather.
