Craig & Kevin bought their mother another squirrel proof bird feeder. The one I bought didn't work. This one is "electric". It says it gives the squirrels a "static correction" Of course Kevin had to try it.

Aliner Owners Club Rally
We just attended a joint rally held by UsMACM and LOKAT in Branson, Missouri. I think there were 24 Aliners in attendance.
As always at these events we had a good time.
The campground, Musicland, was good and a block off the main strip with all the activity.
The weather could not of been better. Sunny and beautiful all weekend.
But the best thing was the people who put on the event and the people who attended. And of course the good food.
This chart showed where everybody came from:
Thanks to all that made this event happen.

Johnson's Shut-ins State Park, Missouri
We just spent a couple days at Johnson's Shut-ins campground. The old campground was destroyed a few years ago in a flood and then they relocated it and built a new one. It just opened last year. It was a very nice campground, everything new and first class.
The weather was great. Sunshine & blue skies all weekend. 60's during the day 30's at night.
The park was destroyed when a man made reservoir failed a few years ago. Everything was rebuilt, they say it will not fail again but just in case thay have a warning.
We sold our 2004 Aliner to a nice couple a month ago. I figured we would never hear from them again. Friday evening I look up and there they are. They picked the same weekend and the same campground and had reservations across the street. It was good to see them & we hope they will come to a Gathering of A-Frames or a Aliner Owners Club event.

Meramec State Park, Missouri
This is a nice park close to home, 1 hour. When I booked a spot Tuesday night the forecast for the weekend was good. The weather turned out to be a little soggy but we enjoyed the weekend . We wanted to get the camper out to check everything out and see if everything would work for us.
Carol & I both love the new bed.
We went from the smallest beds in an Aliner 76" X 46"
to one of the biggest beds of 76" X 76" .
A rare sighting, there was another Aliner at the campground. There are more of the Aliners around than I think.
Nice view of the river.
We are still trying to get everything organized and put where we want it. This is our third Aliner but each has a different floor plan and cabinets set up differently. But everything so far with this one is great.

New to us - 2006 Aliner Expedition
We sold the 2004 Aliner and bought a 2006 Aliner Expedition. We were going to buy a new Aliner but I saw this on on E-Bay and figured it would work and be a whole lot cheaper. Drove up to the Quad Cites- Iowa/Illinois and picked it up. According to the ad on E-Bay it was supposed to be in pristine condition. IT WAS NOT! I didn't consider our 2004 that we sold pristine but it was much better than this one. But, we liked the floor plan of this one and we knew we could make it all work.
We have had it here for 24 hours and Carol has scrubbed the inside top to bottom, we moved the spare tire up front, added a Swagman bike rack, installed a clothesline on the back bumper, added a stainglass stick up, installed a pleated shade over the cathedral window, installed a protective screen over the A/C unit, installed a wind kit, loaded it up for the next camping trip.
