Gathering of A-Frames, Coles Creek Campground Carlyle Lake, IL

This was an A-Frame event. I booked this several months ago when we still had an A-Frame. But since we bought our new camper the group has decided we could still attend the events. We are very happy because we always have fun at these outings. I believe there were 11 A-frames and us. 

We had quite a bit of rain and mostly cloudy the whole time there but it all worked out OK. Most of the rain came at night. 

One night Carol said she was tired and wore out from talking and laughing so much. I guess that is a good thing.

We had a good Pot luck dinner too. I guess I was too busy eating to take pictures.

Boulder Campground, Carlyle Lake, IL

We stayed 5 nights here at a site overlooking the marina. Nice watching sailboats coming and going. We had a nice time. The usual. Relaxing and bike riding.

 Bob Hollenkamp, a Boulder resident took us on a great 10 cent tour of the surrounding area. We enjoyed the stories too.

 I always like looking at the sunsets. At this campground they are great.

Another good trip. We have enjoyed this campground since Bob introduced it to us about 35 years ago.
