Ray Behrens Campground, Mark Twain Lake in Missouri

After the lock-down due to the Coronavirus I wanted to go somewhere and Missouri opened. This is a Corps campground. This campground had playgrounds closed, drinking fountains closed, picnic areas closed, signs on restrooms that only two were allowed at a time. Also no first come first serve sites. Reservations only. 

I call this campground, woodsy/rustic

We were here 8 years ago and my notes said no TV and no phone service. I hoped things had changed, nope. Still nothing. 

We were only here for 3 nights and we managed but we really like having at least cell service.

I ate good and did some bike riding. The campground was spread out. I could ride 8 miles within the campground. 

Carol did some redecorating before we left home and put in new stone back splash.

Texas Trip 2020 - Part 4

The last part of our trip was Gulf Waters RV Resort in Port Aransas, TX. This is our third year here.
This year we have 4 weeks. 

The site we got this year is a plain site but it's close to the beach. Of course every site here is nice.

I was able to get a golf cart for 3 weeks. It was fun to run up and down the beach.

We had visitors too

Carol found a place to eat that she liked so we went there several times.

Bought some tamales off a truck driving through the campground. 

They were good!

We booked a month here next year. Can you tell we like this place?
