Late Mother's Day

We were not home for Mother's Day. So we had it two weeks later.  

          Better late than never.

 We just had the kids over for a visit. Picked up sandwiches and enjoyed the day.

 After we picked up the new Montana we went to Carlyle. First was Boulder Campground. Then a few days at Coles Creek Campground. Then Dam West Campground.

We enjoy all the campgrounds. They give us a variety of sights and scenes.

2021 Montana High Country 294RL

 While we were in Texas I decided I wanted a new camper. I found a model I liked and one I could pull with my current truck. Two feet longer than our Cougar.

So we watched several You Tube videos on this model. I joined a couple of Montana Facebook groups. I researched things as much as I could.  It's really hard to get an RV right now. They are selling like crazy, the factories are behind.  Our dealer, Midwest RV, had one on order according to their web site.

I called our salesman and we went back and forth but we finally agreed on a price. Trading in our 2019 Cougar. The new Montana was supposed to be in St. Louis the end of March or the first of April.

But, we still were not able to see one in person. So I found a like model at a dealer in Rockport, Texas. We drove over to see it and thought it was great. 

On April 19 we were able to pick up the new camper. 

We spent a couple days redoing things and loading it up. 

We are very happy with our new Montana!
