Zucchini Bread

Master Baker making Zucchini Bread:

Carol came home from the store and said she was going to make some zucchini bread. Sounds good.

Then I am in another room listening to her making it.

The conversations she was having with herself:

I don't have walnuts, I have pecans.
Can I use a Bundt pan instead of a loaf pan?
I don't have that much zucchini!

I hear her asking Siri:
Something about butter instead of vegetable oil
Something about white sugar instead of brown sugar.

I hear:
My baking soda is old

But she was determined to make it

While in the oven she says:
If they work it's a miracle.

Well, as it turns out it was very good. She must be a master baker.

It was excellent!

Dam West Campground, Carlyle, IL

We were able to get a few days here.

Dinner out one night at the Wheelhouse

Dinner out at the Fish House, too.

We always get some bike riding in.

Carol found another "As Seen on TV" gadget. Knife with built in cutting board. She said it's great.

I've seen drinking fountains before but never one like this that the Corps just put in. I assume the lowest  one is for dogs.

How many birds have you seen this week?

My Doc always asks if my appetite is OK?
 I guess it is!

Looking forward to the next trip.
