Craig's 31st Birthday

Carol got Craig a giant long john from Strange Donuts. It was big. Craig's not a fan of birthday cake, but he likes an occasional doughnut.

Camping again

We are back at Carlyle again. This is sounding like a broken record. Just the usual, bike riding and Kayaking, relaxing and enjoying retirement.

    Still here and doing the same things.

While we were out in the boat we even saw some pirates

Today we visited one of the Boulder residents:

Carlyle Lake, IL

Back again at the lake. We have a lakefront site. A little rain yesterday and last night, beautiful today. 

We took the Kayak out today and could not get it to go straight. We were all over the lake. When we got back I found we put the seats in backwards which made the rudders in the front. No wonder we had problems. Maybe another try tomorrow.

We did a little bike riding today too. A very nice day.

Our second day in the boat was much better. Today we just took it easy, no boat riding. The weather is great and we are having a good time. 

We moved to another site so we could stay longer, this on was not on the lake but it had full hook ups. 

We enjoyed this trip as usual.
