Spending a few days here with the Pfeil's. This spot is on the lake and the weather could not be any better. Sunny and calm.

We had a good time, played a lot of Fast Track.

I may have to get me some of these fancy star lights!

Coles Creek, Carlyle Lake, IL

We came back here for a few days right on the lake. Nice spot. Doing the same things. Bike riding, watching sunsets and eating good. Such a hard life.

One of our favorite places to eat out. Good food and nice views.

I was excited to get over 1000 miles on my bike for the year  during this trip.  Except my speedometer got to 999.99 and just started flashing. It would not go any higher so I had to start over. Now I have 5 miles on my bike.

Coles Creek campground, Carlyle Lake, IL

We just had a short trip here for four nights. This was a fill-in trip. I looked at the calendar and found we were going to be home for several days and decided to fix that.
This spot is right on the lake. A really nice site. No shade so Spring and Fall it's great.

Two days we had off and on rain, the last two days were beautiful. The cooler weather is nice. Great views and we did some bike riding and tried fishing, too.

And as always on this side of the lake are great sunsets.
