Dam West, Carlyle Lake, IL

After being home for a while and going to Doctor and Dentist appointments we are back camping. 

Having a good time.

The lake was high when we got here but it kept rising. Several spots are flooded and reservations have been canceled. Our spot was high enough, no problem.

Visited with a lot of friends.

Carlyle had fireworks but I didn't get to a good viewing spot, I watched between trees. A lot of people were in their boats on the lake watching.

Tomorrow we are heading to another campground.

Cassie's Birthday and Father's Day

Cassie's birthday and she had to share it with me, Father's Day. 
We had a nice time. Glad they all came over.

We had Psghetti's very good! 

Texas Crowd comes to St. Louis

We had a whole group of Texans come to St. Louis to visit. We didn't do the tourist things (City Museum, Magic House, Zoo, Brewery, Arch, Etc. ) with them but we met up with them all several times. This visit was spread over several days and at different houses. 

The weather was good, the food was great and the visit was wonderful. 

Talking about another reunion in Hot Springs Village next year. I'm In!
