Texas Trip

We just returned from a trip to Texas.

It started with a long drive to Padre Island. We stayed at a condo on the beach for 5 nights.
Had good weather and finally some warmth. Loved the sunrises and being on the beach after the winter we have had. Visited with my sister and her daughter and family and enjoyed it all. Carol even got a hot stone massage.
Our family always has a good time together.

I took the truck out on the beach because I could.

Next was a trip to San Antonio for an open house at Carol's brothers house.
Then to a wedding. Carol's brother's daughter Julia & Ryan Bippert were married in Comfort, Texas. Very nice wedding and a good time.

When we left home it was 37 degrees and cold. We had 80's on Padre Island. Today we return home to a rainy day a temps in the 30's. We should of stayed.

New driveway

Our driveway was cracked and not pretty when we moved in 28 years ago. We finally had it replaced.

Pfeil Landscaping did a great job!

Purchased a new camper

We bought a 2014 Coachmen Catalina 253RKS. Bought a new truck a few months ago with higher towing capacity so now we can have a bigger camper.  Can't wait to get it out.

Checking out the Silverado and the Aliner

I hooked up the camper to check ball height and test and check the new Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller that I installed. Everything looks good!
