We made it back home after being gone for about 1 month.
We had a great time visiting with all of our family members.
This was our first trip of any distance or time with a camper in tow. We had a good time with no major problems. (A few minor problems like smoke detector getting destroyed, replacement smoke detector going off several times, propane alarm going off in the night, bedroom floor getting flooded twice)
We drove a total of 2611 miles and averaged 10.2 MPG!
Our last trip to Texas, 2014, we didn't tow the camper and drove 2314 miles and averaged 20.7 MPG.
But it cost of a few hundred dollars in campground fees instead of thousands we would of spent in motels and condos.
I think this will not be our last adventure with the camper.
46 days until our next scheduled camping trip, Carlyle, IL.

Texas trip continued
Our Texas trip continues into Louisiana. I decided that we would continue our visits to TV shows and go to Duck Commander in West Monroe.
Today we visited and took the big tour of the duck call room and made duck calls. Carol said the place was a dump!

Texas Trip continued
Yesterday we moved to Waco, Texas for a couple of days.
Today we went to HGTV Fixer Upper's Magnolia Market. Saw the silos and looked around.
I had to go to their bakery and get something, a $2.50 cookie. It was good.
Then we went to Harp Design. Also featured on Fixer Upper.

We actually had to cook for ourselves tonight. Most of this trip we were at somebodies house mooching off of them.
Even played Fast Track today
