Aliner Owners Club - Central Great Lakes Region

We just attended another AOC Rally. This one was in Shipshewana, Indiana. I think there were 45 or more Aliners in attendance. Very good for a regional rally. Some years the national events didn't draw that many. And I know it wasn't because of the cheap gas prices. I paid $4.11 a gallon on our way home.

On Thursday, about an hour before we got there, it started raining. It continued to rain most of the day and on Friday too. Friday afternoon it was rainy and 56 degrees. Hard to believe since it has been so hot and dry.
We spent part of the day in town checking out the various Amish shops and stores.
It's a little weird to be sitting at a traffic signal and looking into the rear view mirror and seeing a horse. Horses and buggies everywhere.

Friday night was pot luck. We had a pavilion which kept the rain off and we had a full house. Great food as usual.

Saturday morning it cleared and it was a beautiful day. It's always good to see all the different Aliners and things that have been done.

Some even decorate their tow vehicle:

Even with a little rain we had a good time visiting with everybody and meeting new people.

We had music and played games.

This trip was 870 miles and we averaged 17.8 MPG towing with our GMC Terrain.

Like every rally we had a great time and look forward to the next one.
