Texas 2017

For the first time we decided to actually take a trip somewhere with our camper. We picked a day to leave and that day the were talking about 25 - 30 MPH winds, I said nope. Then we had several days of freezing rain. So we finally left home a week later than we originally planned. Of course we had no agenda or plans, just head to Texas to see family. Being retired makes it easy to change plans.

You have to love Texas speed limits.

Texas has giant gas stations too.

It took 3 days but we made it to our first destination, Stockdale, TX. Stayed at a RV park here.

Not much but it's close and has everything we need.
Water, electric, sewer, Wi-Fi and cable TV. Plus a nice free wake up service every morning.

We are visiting with my sister and my  niece and her family at the Ranch that they recently bought. Awesome place.
Huge, fancy house along with barns, garages, outbuildings, a pool, etc.

They have animals. A couple dogs, a horse, a miniature horse, miniature donkey, and dwarf donkey.

We are having a great time and the weather has been great. 70's and sunny!
